Frequently asked questions

Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions page.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Our hourly rate is $89 an hour and with no special call out fee, we are the cheapest mechanic in brisbane.  Most mobile mechanics are between $141-$160 an hour (including Lube Mobile).  Most workshops are $120 and hour, and dealers are now approaching $200 an hour!  Low overheads mean that we can do a thorough job – not rush it through like most.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We don’t charge a special callout fee.  Travel time is included in our rates though we have the lowest hourly rate in Brisbane. This ensures that the bottom line is the same as any workshop.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We specialise in brakes, automatic transmissions and manual, log book servicing, air conditioning, auto electrical.  We work on Japanese, Korean, Australian and European cars.

Frequently Asked Questions

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have over 25 years experience. We have all the computers needed to work on new cars with an old school approach to business.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

We care about you and your car, we come to you for the same cost as a workshop and we don’t do dodgy!

But don’t rely on just what we say…

Head over to google reviews to see how we treat our customers.  We do the right thing, explain what we are doing and try to give a fair indication of what it will cost.
